Clinty|City boy turned 365 day adventurer

Many of my outdoor passions have been the result of unfortunate events…

I became a runner after nearly losing my left foot in a motorcycle accident in 2005. After three months recovering in hospital and a further year under “house arrest”, I surprised myself “running” for a bus. I then decided to embark on an extremely long and agonising journey taking me from being bed ridden to running my first 5km and resulting in me running a half-marathon years after my accident. Long distance running is now part of my routine, and I shall continue to run until the plates and pins in my leg force me to slow down.

In 2016 climbing entered my life, as I decided it was time to battle my then crippling fear of heights. This now feels like a lifetime ago. Back then, I felt vulnerable when only a handful of meters high, looking over a friends balcony would always bring on sweaty palms and heavy breathing. Since stumbling into a local London bouldering gym and signing up for an induction, I have been infatuated with the sport and personalities I have had the pleasure of meeting.  As I spent more and more time climbing, I was introduced to mother nature and the great outdoors, I have never looked back or stopped adventuring outdoors since.
I pride myself on introducing people of all backgrounds especially those who live in cities, to the great outdoors.
